ASRS Maintenance Mechanic

Division Overview:

 

Aurologistics is a division of Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc., our logistics (3PL) Distribution Center in East Windsor. Aurologistics is 565,000 square feet where we have Aurobindo's automated warehouse, distribution, manufacturing and packaging of Aurobindo's products. 

Job Overview:

• ASRS mechanics are responsible for maintaining/carrying out a preventive maintenance program for the ASRS on daily basis.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot electrical issues on the ASRS
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the ASRS.
• Ability to identify, maintain, and troubleshoot Motor Controls including motor starters, Variable Frequency Drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components.
• Monitor the running condition of all robotics components inside the ASRS.
• Assist and Perform Facilites related daily activities. 
• Conduct daily facilities inspections.
• Follow up with Vendors on Annual Inspections and hard services.
• Assist employees on day-to-day soft services 

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:

• Able to use power tools
• Able to follow instruction according to the SOP.
• Must be able to understand the various levels of automation and the associated systems integration and standards
• Strong planning, organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with departmental staff, both written and verbal
• Leadership and motivate skills with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Education & Experience:

• Technical/vocational degree.
• An ASRS mechanic should have 1 year of experience and/or a mechanical background.
