Shift Details

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Hours: 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM start time
• Overtime: Occasional, based on operational needs
• Weekend/Holiday Work: May be required occasionally

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pharmacy Clerk / Bagging Technician to support in-pharmacy operations and ensure timely and accurate prescription fulfillment. This role involves preparing medications for delivery, organizing workflow, and assisting both pharmacy and warehouse functions in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and organize final reviewed medications based on facility units, location, and delivery schedules
• Scan medications and manifests to ensure accurate tracking and delivery confirmation
• Prepare delivery materials, including manifests, packing slips, and ancillary documentation (MCRs, TSP notifications, etc.)
• Retrieve completed medication orders from pharmacist review stations, including STAT orders
• Set up delivery totes, labeling, and staging areas for daily operations
• Verify completeness of orders before dispatch by checking racks and bins
• Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency within pharmacy and warehouse operations
• Support pharmacy staff during downtime with additional operational tasks
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulatory standards
• Follow company policies related to safety, attendance, and dress code
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong English reading and communication skills
• Ability to work at a consistent, moderate pace in a fast-paced environment
• 0–6 months of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmacy setting (retail or long-term care preferred)
• Prior warehouse, picking, or logistics experience

Work Environment & Team

• On-site role within a pharmacy setting
• Collaborative team structure including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and clerks
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on patient safety and timely prescription delivery

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods (7–10 hours/day)
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Good manual dexterity for handling medications and equipment
• Visual ability to read fine print and adjust focus
• Ability to hear and communicate effectively
