Assembler 1, General

The Assembler 1, General is an entry-level manufacturing role responsible for assembling components, parts, or finished products according to work instructions, specifications, and quality standards. The position may involve using hand and power tools, performing basic inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and following established safety and production procedures. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or equivalen.

Experience:

• 1+ year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.
• Uses a variety of equipment such as inspection and light equipment, handcarts, to move materials, parts, assemblies and scrap products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse.
• Sort and inspect materials.
• Ability to read rulers and must have good vision.
• Must maintain quality records, have good writing skills, and maintain good documentation practices.
• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. Works under general to limited supervision.
