Status: Contract-to-Hire
Drug Screening is Not Required for this Job Assignment.
Steel toe shoes or composite shoes are required for this job assignment.
High School diploma or GED is required for this job assignment.
Position Summary
The Assembler I is responsible for assembling and testing subassemblies for the Blister production line, including XF and Ultra machines.
This position follows Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs) to ensure products are built safely, accurately, and to quality standards.
Daily work assignments and priorities are provided by the Team Lead.
Responsibilities
Follow MPIs to assemble and test mechanical and electrical subassemblies.
Route wires and perform wire preparation, including stripping wires and installing pins and ferrules.
Use hand and measuring tools such as torque wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, calipers, polarity checkers, and presses.
Perform quality checks and basic testing of completed assemblies.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Complete assigned tasks according to production schedules and priorities.
Work overtime as needed to support production requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly procedures.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks and work with small components.
