Assembler
Pay: $20–$21/hour
Location: Near Troy, NY
Schedule: Full-time, on-site, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with occasional overtime

Our well-established client is seeking a dependable Production Assembler to support the production of heavy-duty equipment used in municipal, industrial, and infrastructure applications. This is a full-time, onsite role for someone who enjoys hands-on work, precision assembly, and being part of a collaborative shop-floor team.

Position Overview:
The Production Assembler is responsible for building high-quality fabricated components and finished units according to technical specifications and production schedules. This role supports products engineered to perform in demanding environments and requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies into complete units following standard operating procedures
• Install sealants and gaskets according to specifications and drawings
• Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work instructions
• Perform minor part fitting using templates, jigs, and fixtures
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
• Prepare materials using grinding wheels and chemical cleaners
• Perform product touch-ups to meet quality standards prior to shipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; perform basic equipment and tool maintenance
• Move products using forklifts and pallet jacks as needed
• Assist with special projects as assigned by supervisors

Skills & Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of assembly or fabrication experience
• Ability to read and analyze 2D CAD drawings
• Proficient with measuring tools and basic shop math
• Experience using common hand and power tools
• Forklift operation experience
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to stand, bend, and repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in varying outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team
