Assembler 1st Shift

We are seeking individuals to assemble products and ensure the overall conformance and quality of the product is met for a leading manufacturing facility in Walhalla, SC. Come join a growing team as a 1st shift Assembler!  Responsibilities:

• Assembles product to meet job order specifications
• Uses tooling and equipment such as soldering irons, torque meters/drivers, wrenches, and pliers during the assembly process
• Lifting, carrying, and transferring assembled products within departments and throughout the production area
• Basic reading and comprehension
• Ability to use tools and other devices that pertain to the above responsibilities
• Must complete and perform job tasks accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner 
• Performs other related activities as assigned by the Department Group Leader

 Other Duties:

• Uses job-relevant knowledge to assemble product
• Performs job activities under supervision of Department Group Leader
• Interacts and coordinates work with other production workers and group leaders
• Interaction with members of management during the assembly process of the product may be necessary at times (Quality, Engineering, and Training Personnel)

 Environment:

• Indoors
• Primarily sitting; some standing and walking
• Some use of tools and equipment involving repetitive motions
• Bending, lifting, and carrying (up to 50 lbs.)
• Some interaction with chemicals or contaminants

 Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• There is no previous experience needed for this position
• Training will be provided as necessary at initial job placement
• Basic PPE required

 Shift Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pmPay:$15.00
