Job Description
JSG is seeking an Assembler II for a temp to hire, onsite position for our medical device manufacturing client in the greater Simi Valley area.
The Assembler II is a vital part of the operation. The position
builds all product and sub assemblies. The Assembler II ensures product is
made efficiently and according to company approved work instructions while maintaining strict quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble products per Production System standards
- Provide production line support
- Identify nonconforming items
- Adhere to company Quality System requirements
- Produce goods in a timely and efficient manner. Meets or exceeds
- production and support time standards.
- Conscious of continuous improvement while working
- Solve problems when encountered with the help of management staff
- Identify possible shortages in inventory. Notifying Supply Chain
- when necessary.
- Identify root cause when reworking product
- Does not require supervision
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
- Must be able to read, understand, and execute written, verbal and visual
- instructions.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Must learn concepts quickly
- Must work well as an individual and in a team
- Must be able to use handheld and power tools.
- Must be able to read standard work instructions
- Must adhere to rules and regulations.
- Must be able to drive a walk behind forklift.
- Must have basic ability to operate a computer.
- High School Diploma
- 2 years work experience in manufacturing
