Assembler – 2nd Shift Pay Rate: $23.00 per Hour Shift: 2nd Shift Position: Assembler Job SummaryWe are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Assembler to join our 2nd Shift team. The Assembler will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies according to technical instructions, blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures.The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Follow technical instructions and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical terminology.
Assemble parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, machines, and other equipment.
Position and align components and parts manually or with the use of hoists.
Inspect parts and materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
Test finished products for defects and proper operation.
Inventory parts, materials, and tools used during the assembly process.
Maintain and properly care for tools and equipment.
Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and supervisor directives.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained work area.
Identify and troubleshoot assembly or product issues.
Perform other duties within your skill set as assigned or directed.
Required Skills & Abilities
Ability to read and understand blueprints, building plans, schematics, and technical instructions.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Experience
Previous assembly, manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical experience preferred.
Experience reading blueprints or schematics strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
Must be able to crouch, bend, crawl, and work in awkward or confined spaces.
Must be able to climb ladders.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time.
Must be physically capable of performing repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
