Assembler 2nd Shift

Our Client, an Oilfield Services company, is looking for an Assembler 2nd Shift for their Florence, KY location.

Responsibilities:

• The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
• Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 0-2 years experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate with management and peers in a clear and professional manner.
• Efficient in basic computer skills: accessing and sending emails, completing online certifications and tests, etc.
• Proactively identify and resolve any issues or problems that could arise and/or the ability to direct said issue or problem to the appropriate team.
• Lift at least 50 lbs from floor to knuckles level on an occasional basis.
• Lift at least 50 lbs from floor to waist level on an occasional basis, Lift at least 25 lbs from floor to shoulder level on an occasional basis, and
• Carry at least 50 lbs for a minimum distance of 100 feet on an occasional basis
