    Description

    Assembler
     
    Location: Orange, CA
    Employment Type: Full-Time opportunities for Overtime
    Work Environment: On-site
    Reports To: Cleanroom Manager
    Hours: 4:00PM to 12:30AM
     
    Position Description:
    The Assembler Level I is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing components or products following detailed work instructions and quality standards. This entry-level role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production environment.
     
     
    Responsibilities:
    • Read a job traveler to determine what assembly must be completed and know how to fill one out.
    • Be able to differentiate between acceptable and rejectable retainers and separate them into different categories.
    • Follows the basic 5S process and keeps work environment organized.
    • Must be able to, correctly and effectively, assemble assigned parts following the process within the work instruction.
    • Correctly count all the retainers used and all final assemblies.
    • Subtract the correct number of retainers used from retainer inventory and adjust quantities if any errors are made.
    • Label final products with lot number, part number, and quantity.
      • Combine final assemblies for inventory.
      • Store final product for inventory.
     
     
    Skills/Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Basic mechanical skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Able to identify, and correct any inconsistencies for incorrect part numbers, and incorrect lot numbers.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small parts or delicate components.
    • Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
    • Prior assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
