Title: Assembler-2nd shift
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Hire Type: Contract (Possibility to go Direct)
ShiftMonday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM  
Compensation: $20/hr +10% shift differential

Overview:
The Assembler is responsible for performing assembly and sub-assembly work in a production environment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks while meeting production goals and quality standards.

Job Duties: 

  • Assemble and sub-assemble components according to work instructions and specifications
  • Use hand tools and air-powered tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches
  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measuring devices including calipers, micrometers, and resistance meters
  • Package finished products for shipment
  • Maintain quality and productivity standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and work instructions

Qualifications: 

  • Previous assembly experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedures
  • Experience using hand tools and air tools
  • Basic math skills
  • Trade school education in electrical or mechanical disciplines is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Frequent lifting of up to 35 lbs.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for repetitive tasks
  • Occasional walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials
  • Ability to handle parts and tools throughout the shift
