Assembler 3 position in Bethpage, NY, for a 6-month contract with rates up to $35/hr BOE.
Work hours are 06:00-16:30, Mon-Thurs, with 10% travel; telecommuting is not available.
Responsibilities include performing electronic and mechanical assembly tasks from diagrams and drawings, using hand/power tools, making continuity checks, and testing assemblies.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 10+ years of related experience in aircraft or similar environments, with basic knowledge of hardware, MS Office, and viewing 2D/3D drawings.
Preferred skills include experience with milling machines, lathes, and installing bushings.
