Location: 4735 Oakland St, Denver, CO 80239

Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Work Type: Onsite

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assembler III to join our production team in Denver, CO. In this role, you will perform a variety of assembly operations ranging from repetitive to complex tasks on mechanical and electronic assemblies and subassemblies.

You will work from technical diagrams, drawings, and layouts to assemble modules, boards, panels, frames, and cable systems while ensuring quality and precision throughout the manufacturing process.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and machines using hand and power tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and bills of materials (BOM)
  • Align, fit, and adjust parts to meet required tolerances and functionality
  • Install components such as bearings, gears, motors, shafts, conveyors, pneumatic components, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform fabrication tasks including drilling, tapping, grinding, and finishing
  • Conduct continuity checks and quality inspections during and after assembly
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble prototype or experimental assemblies as required
  • Troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues and recommend solutions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following 5S standards
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3-4 years of mechanical assembly experience (machinery or industrial equipment preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches)
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or fabrication techniques including assembly, machining, welding, or soldering
  • Experience performing quality control inspections

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical or vocational training in mechanical technology or related field
  • Experience working with custom machinery, automation systems, or manufacturing equipment
  • Forklift or overhead crane certification
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Willingness to work up to 10 hours of overtime per week
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
