Job Title: Assembler

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm or 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Looking for a hands-on role where precision and teamwork matter? Join us in Portland, ME, as an Assembler and play a vital role in building high-quality electronic products. In this position, you’ll support component preparation, slide line operations, and chassis assembly while working with a variety of tools and equipment. Your attention to detail will help ensure every product meets strict quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

Perform component preparation, slide line work, and chassis assembly
Handle and mount electronic components such as resistors and microchips onto circuit boards
Install, fasten, align, and adjust parts, wiring, and harnesses using hand and small power tools
Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position and clean components on printed circuit boards
Inspect assemblies, identify defective components, and make necessary replacements
Repair and refurbish older devices as needed
Follow established assembly procedures and safety guidelines

What You’ll Bring:

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a production environment
Comfort using hand tools and small power tools
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience in electronic or mechanical assembly
Familiarity with printed circuit boards and electronic components
Previous manufacturing or production experience

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions or basic schematics
Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying defective components
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
