Job Details:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling components, performing testing and in-process inspections, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This role works from work orders, assembly drawings, and both written and verbal instructions to complete assemblies and prepare products for shipment. The Assembler plays a key role in a team-oriented manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble parts and components using assembly drawings and specifications
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assemblies
  • Deburr parts using hand tools, rotary files, and machine barrel tumblers
  • Operate grinding equipment and perform swaging operations (hearing conservation program required where applicable)
  • Perform in-process inspections and complete required documentation, including work orders and inspection records
  • Read and interpret simple blueprints and work instructions
  • Follow labor tracking processes and production workflows
  • Inspect own work using standard measuring tools and gauges
  • Package, crate, and prepare finished goods for shipment
  • Maintain established quality and production standards
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Collaborate with team members to meet departmental and company goals
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and composite toe shoes on the shop floor

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
