Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Alpena, MI. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic who are eager to contribute to the production of high-quality conveyor systems. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components of conveyor systems using hand and power tools.
  • Perform basic DC wiring tasks as part of the assembly process.
  • Build pallets and prepare products for shipment.
  • Operate forklifts for loading and unloading trucks.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills Needed

  • Proficiency with basic hand tools (e.g., cordless drill, impact wrench).
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Forklift operation skills (training provided if needed).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

Knowledge Required

  • Basic mechanical assembly principles.
  • Fundamentals of DC electrical wiring.
  • Safe handling and operation of tools and equipment.
  • Workplace safety and organization standards.

Ability to Implement

  • Apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to assemble conveyor systems accurately.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to support production and logistics.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
  • Adapt quickly to new tasks and procedures with minimal supervision.
