    Job Description

    Job Title: Assembler Date: May 2026

    Reports To: Assembly + Paint Lead

    SummaryThe Assembler is a critical part of the American Fan team. This role will work with their immediate team along with other cross functional departments at American Fan to build and test. This role will need to have good communication and verbal skills. Ideally the candidate will be able to build relationships with internal and external customers.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    Assemble fans and blowers according to instructions on order, including balancing blades.Final inspection for all defects - inclusion of appropriate accessories, motors, etc.Report needed information to their Lead such as any malfunction, damage, or need of repair to any equipment of which they become aware.Accurate and diligent processing of any administrative work such as time sheets, scrap reports, etc.Use required PPE according to local Safety Requirements.May test finished products (fans) for balance, rpm, upon completion of appropriate trainingFamiliarity with ERP systemsFamiliarity with working with a craneBasic understanding of electricity for testing environmentAbility to adapt and pivot quickly per business needsEmbody the FMD values of Integrity, Velocity and Teamwork.

    Qualifications and Educational Requirements

    High School Diploma (Preferred) or GEDAbility to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals.Forklift training certificate or the ability to receive it.Strong attention to detail

    Assemblers are not required to lift more than 50 lbs by hand will be trained on fork trucks and cranes for the larger itemsMust be able to identify and measure material

    Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterityMaintain a clean and safe work environment.Ensures that all safety procedures are followed as stated on posted signs and in Company policy

    Candidates should be familiar with and capable of using hand and pneumatic tools.Mechanical background a plus Strong attention to detailElectrical background a plus Strong attention to detail
