Assembler Associate

Pay Rate: $22.50/hr

• Work Mode: Onsite
• Location: North Chicago, IL
• Shift: 2 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Operate filling equipment and label application in an ISO 7 environment.
• Perform setup, shutdown, and cleaning of equipment.
• Conduct quality checks and label application in a Controlled Non Classified area (CNC).
• Document production activities digitally and in hard copy.
• Maintain a safe working environment and general housekeeping.
• Support production activities outside the direct area of work.
• Monitor production activities, clear minor jams, and address downtime issues.
• Report any abnormal equipment functions or product problems promptly.
• Complete inspection of products and materials to ensure acceptable visual and physical appearance.
• Maintain accurate and legible records.
• Perform basic calculations and replenish production materials.
• Communicate effectively face-to-face, via phone, and email.
• Utilize computer-based programs: Microsoft Office, SAP, and other custom programs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Capability to lift 20 lbs.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
• Basic computer literacy (data entry, inventory software, Microsoft Office).
• Prior experience manufacturing in a GMP environment.
• Experience in environments adhering to ISO standards.
• Ability to gown and work in a clean environment (hood, shoe covers, coveralls, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

• 1 year of experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or applicable filling operation.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Previous knowledge of SAP.
• Clean room experience.
