Assembler Associate

Summary:

• Location: North Chicago, IL
• Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
• Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Follow established GMP instructions without deviation
• Execute highly complex or specialized work
• Proactively monitor production activities and address downtime issues to minimize impact
• Report any abnormal equipment function or product problems as soon as identified
• Operate filling, labeling, and other equipment according to established procedures
• Responsible for the accurate completion of work orders and other documentation
• Safely operate all equipment and promptly report incidents, injuries, or safety hazards
• Maintain accurate and legible records
• Inspect products and materials to ensure acceptable visual and physical appearance
• Perform basic calculations
• Maintain and replenish production materials
• Complete general housekeeping tasks
• Contribute positively to the production team
• Take accountability for individual and team performance and efficiency
• Follow instructions with minimal supervision
• Communicate effectively face-to-face, via phone, and email
• Utilize computer-based programs: Microsoft Office, SAP, and other custom programs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Capability to lift 20 lbs.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
• Basic computer literacy (data entry, inventory software, Microsoft Office)
• Prior experience in a GMP environment
• Experience in environments adhering to ISO standards
• Ability to gown to work in a clean environment (hood, shoe covers, coveralls, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or applicable filling operation
• Basic English proficiency
• Previous knowledge of SAP
• Clean room experience
