About the Role
Dexter is looking for Assemblers to help build finished products by putting together parts and components using hand and power tools. This is a hands-on manufacturing role where quality, safety, and attention to detail matter.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Assemble parts and components following step-by-step instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools to complete assemblies
- Inspect work as you go to make sure products meet quality standards
- Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Work at a steady pace to meet production goals
- Communicate with team members and supervisors as needed
- Help with other production tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior assembly experience, especially in a metal manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read instructions, drawings, and measurements
- Safety-first mindset
- Attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility with forklift traffic and powered equipment
- Exposure to noise, vibration from tools, dust, dirt, and grease
- Some areas with high noise levels
- Exposure to outdoor elements and high heat during certain months
- Required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and protective clothing
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hand and power tools
- Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, crouching, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
