Assembler (7083) Austin, TX 78753
Pay Rate: $20.55 /Hr. on W2
Shift: 4/10 - 2nd (Mon-Thu) 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble parts and subassemblies for complex electromechanical equipment.
Conduct self-inspections and ensure work meets quality and production standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and process documentation.
Work in a clean room environment, adhering to strict cleanliness and safety protocols.
Use fixturing and other tools to build assemblies accurately.
Manually solder or epoxy electrical components as needed.
Operate equipment such as solder reflow ovens, semi-automatic pick-and-place machines, and automated measurement systems.
Inspect materials and components for defects before use.
Assemble, disassemble, and modify subassemblies as required.
Collaborate effectively with teammates and communicate clearly with supervisors.
Enter data into MRP systems and perform basic computer tasks.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years of High School or Trade School education.
Basic understanding of electromechanical assembly processes.
Ability to read and follow detailed technical instructions and engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to become solder certified (if not already).
Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Strong work ethic and dependability.
