Pay Rate: $24 Per Hour
Summary:
- Work Schedule: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Saturday
- Location: Within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA
Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and top assemblies for products used by Boeing, Embraer, Gulfstream, Cessna, and Airbus
- Occasionally work on electrical assemblies and soldering
- Follow proper tooling, documentation, and procedures with minimal supervision
- Perform lock wire/safety wire and nameplate tasks
- Identify and apply best practices in assembly work
- Use hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, arbor press, vises, soldering iron, micrometers, calipers, lockwire pliers, and dial indicators
- Read and interpret blueprints, verbal, and written instructions
- Cross-train in other areas when required
- Prepare materials, including lapping surfaces with correct techniques and compounds
- Inspect products visually, identify defects, and follow procedures for handling
- Ensure tooling is calibrated before use
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety rules
- Perform other duties as assigned, including temporary reassignment to other production areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of assembly manufacturing experience
- Must live within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA (no relocation offered)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
- Company will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in line with FCIHO requirements
Preferred Skills:
- 2 years of aerospace assembly experience
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) certification
- Experience working in FAA-regulated environments
