Assembler

Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for Assemblers for a manufacturing/logistics client of ours in Canton, Michigan.


Shift : 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday- Thursday, some OT Saturday

Location: Canton, MI
Pay Rate: 17.50/hr

Job Duties:

• Installing rear light assemblies and cameras for vehicles per product specifications
• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
• Assembles components accurately by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications of completed builds by measuring complete components
• Perform visual inspection to ensure no scratches or other defects before packaging
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving camera installation and machine issues
• Perform machine checks daily for proper workflow
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Min of 1 year of manufacturing experience required
• Previous warehouse experience, preferred
• Ability to lift 25lbs
• Ability to stand, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time
