Contract: $24/hr Shift: Weekend Dayshift, Full-Time (Fri-Sun) 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Contractor selected will be required to start and train on first shift before moving to third shift.(First Shift Training Hours: (M-TH) 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Seeking a Microelectronics Assembler for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with electronics, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role.
In this role, you will play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assembling electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings. • Using microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements. • Reading and interpreting assembly process/work instructions and work instruction processes. • Working with microscopes to large components that may require visual magnification. • Using various hand tools (such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters) and pneumatic tools (such as torque drivers and screwdrivers). • Maintaining accurate data entry related to production processes. • Collaborating with team members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
What Were Looking For:
• Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for time keeping, work instructions, and task confirmation. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. • Ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610. • Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred. • Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment. • Strong work ethic and reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role. • High school diploma or GED required. • Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
