Assembler

Clearwater company looking for assemblers with soldering experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs all tasks assigned that will meet quality, schedule and cost requirements.
• Interprets processes for assembly of all standard products.
• Use hand soldering iron and de-soldering stations and maintains Solder Technician In-Training Certification.
• Performs various adhesives requirements as instructed and maintains an Adhesives Technician In-Training Certification.
• Performs basic printed circuit board assembly operations.
• Utilizes most assembly fixtures, tools and special devices.
• Assembles products utilizing process instructions and/or verbal instructions when necessary.
• Strives to acquire a high level of knowledge of products.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Basic problem solving skills
• Basic soldering and adhesives skills including Technician In-Training Certification.
• Ability to interpret processes and to follow instructions.
• Good manual dexterity skills.
• Good follow through skills.
• Good math aptitude.

EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one (1) year basic production assembly experience. Previous experience using standard manufacturing equipment and measuring devices is preferred.

Pay starts at $17/hr Well-qualified applicants may be considered at a higher rate.
