Overview
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour with the opportunity for compensation increases within your first 90 days after you've completed training.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with occasional Saturdays as needed. This role guarantees 40 hours per week, with mandatory overtime during our peak production seasons.
At Snap‑on Equipment, we deliver productivity solutions for the automotive industry. Our Conway facility plays a critical role in assembling and building high‑quality automotive equipment for customers across the country.
Responsibilities
- To assemble quality products in a safe, cost-effective manner.
- Understand and practice all applicable safety rules.
- Successfully complete training on how to operate equipment to do the designated job (hand tools, hoist, and power/air tools) safely.
- Produce quality products.
- Legibly complete proper documentation for the movement of material and labor performed.
- Utilize assembly notebooks as a reference for assembly processes with minimum training.
- Learn and successfully follow assembly processes and procedures with minimum training.
- Store parts in the proper location and monitor the accuracy of inventory.
- Keep a clean and organized work zone.
- Meet established standards of productivity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate's degree in electronics and/or electronic experience a plus
- Knowledge of Conway Manufacturing Products.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Ability to work flexible hours (i.e., overtime as required)
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Self starter
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work in multiple assembly areas as required
