Assembler

Role Overview

We are looking for an Assembler to join our Dayton office.

Ink manufacturing role combines chemistry and production skills to mix, test, and package inks that meet Kodak quality standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comprehend and follow work instructions and procedures
• Communicate effectively, clearly, good listening skills, as well as taking direction
• Maintain batch records compliant with ISO/GMP standards
• Cross train and work overtime if required.
• Able to lift approx. 35 pounds.
• Troubleshoot and solve fluid and mechanical problems with direction.
• Perform repetitive work and stand or sit for extended periods of time.
• Work primarily on 1st shift
• Carefully handle packing containers and test equipment
• Select and weigh raw materials for mixing and testing
• Computer literacy and attention to detail are essential.
• Follow all specific safety procedures and use proper PPE.
• Ability to work independently
• Mid-level math and unit conversion skills required.
• Handle various chemicals and dyes in both a laboratory and production environment safely.
• Operate mixing tanks and related manufacturing equipment; perform cleaning, and sanitization of tanks and tools

Desirables:

• Experience/knowledge of mixing fluids, inks, chemicals, etc.
• SAP knowledge is desired but will train.
• Forklift/hand truck operation desired but will train.
• Previous OSHA and/or ISO training desired
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge
