Description
YBI Recruiting is hiring Assemblers on behalf of one of our manufacturing clients—an established U.S. company that builds and services specialized equipment used across utilities, telecom, construction, and infrastructure industries. Equipment includes aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes, telecom, and specialty equipment which supports customers in over 100 countries globally. They are hiring for multiple positions - Mechanical Assemblers, Electrical Assemblers, and Hydraulic Assemblers.
Major Responsibilities:
Prepare, assemble, and install vehicle and/or chipper components to required specifications for Welding, Mechanical, Hydraulic, electrical, Unit, and Finish departments
Use and conduct proper care of PPE
Read and interpret schematics (blueprints) and work orders
Use basic hand tools such as tape measure and specialty equipment
Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell)
Perform rework as required
Move to other work areas to support production needs (crosstrain)
Install unit vehicle and/or chipper components and accessories
Test installed components
Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures, and practices
Maintain work area and shop tools and equipment
Maintain daily time records
Job duties may vary by location
Starting Wage: $28.16/hour
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Experience and knowledge in at least one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Welding
Ability to read, write, and comprehend
Basic computer usage knowledge
Vocational training in lieu of experience wil be considered
Preferred Requirements:
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Knowledge of manufacturing/production processes
