Job Description

Position Title: Assembler Department: Production Reports to: Area LeadWage Range: $18-$21 Principal Accountabilities: Become IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certificationsMeet production requirements: Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion/Factory Logix documentation, Pass the Component Identification quiz, Depanel per work instructions, and learn to tape off small components with masking tape for conformal coat process.Perform prepping, stuffingAssist the Shipping Coordinator as neededEnsure that all products are tagged, bagged, packaged, and labeled properly and in accordance with customer and/or shipper's specificationsResponsibility is to ship per work instructions and customer requirementsPerform all computer transactions accurately and quicklyAbility to navigate several software applications Physical Requirements:Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, as required by job tasksVisual acuity sufficient to perform detailed work, including the ability to inspect work under a microscope when necessaryMust be able to pass a vision exam with a minimum visual acuity of 20/25 in at least one eye, with or without corrective lensesMust be able to pass a color vision test to accurately distinguish color-coded components or materialsDemonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks effectivelyPaint/taping experience is a plusMinimum Qualifications:Must be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20)Good verbal and written skillsBasic computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified2 years production environment experience *Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship*As part of our commitment to a safe and trustworthy workplace, Impact ES Vancouver conducts background checks on all final candidates.
