The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Assembler for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Details:
• Pay: $21.00/hour
• Duration: 1-year contract
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Location: Onsite
Position Overview:
The Assembler will assemble mechanical water valves in a manufacturing environment while ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble mechanical water valves using hand and power tools.
• Perform quality inspections on completed products.
• Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other equipment.
• Document production and inventory activity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 months of assembly experience (2+ years preferred).
• Paint spraying experience is highly preferred.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
