PGS Worldwide is seeking an Assembler in Endicott, NY for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports the assembly of electronic and mechanical components used in advanced technologies. You will work in a hands-on production environment using tools and following detailed instructions, with training provided to help you succeed.

Pay
1st Shift: $19.50/hr 2nd Shift: $21.45/hr (includes shift differential) Weekend Shift: Up to $23.83/hrWhat You’ll Do
Assemble electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and modules Use hand and power tools to build, modify, test, repair, and rework assemblies Follow written instructions, diagrams, and process sheets Perform both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met Track work progress and log tasks in production systems Support team production goals and continuous improvement effortsPreferred Skills
Experience applying conformal coating Soldering experience with electrical components Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
