Starting Pay: $16.00/hr

Advance Services is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assemblers for a manufacturing facility in Galesburg, IL. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, following instructions, and being part of a team that produces quality products.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assemble sub-assembly parts and components.
  • Assemble complete equipment models ready for shipment to customers.
  • Wire and connect motors, switches, and electrical components.
  • Assemble belts, sprockets, pulleys, rollers, and other mechanical components.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certification or degree in a manufacturing, mechanical, or related field is a plus.
  • Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Minimum of two years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to pass a manufacturing skills written test.
  • Ability to pass an assembly logic written test.
  • Demonstrate strong basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to read measuring devices, including dial calipers.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Electrical and plumbing experience is helpful.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
