FieldBridge is looking for a Assembler in Houston, TX to work a worldwide provider of equipment and components used in oil and gas drilling and production operations.Weekly pay + benefits.
Pay is $22.89 - $28.43/hour | Day Shift, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | Overtime available as workload demands | At $28.43/hr and 50 hrs/week, earn weekly paychecks of approximately $1,563

Position Overview
We are placing a Mechanical Assembler with a leading manufacturing client in Houston to support gearbox assembly and testing operations. This role involves hands-on assembly of enclosed drive gearboxes and subassemblies, along with equipment monitoring, measurement recording, and troubleshooting. Candidates with experience in batch production, material traceability, and blueprint reading will be a strong fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform gearbox assembly and testing, including subassemblies and component integration
- Read and interpret blueprints, use calipers and measuring instruments, and record dimensions on production logs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with facility HSE policies
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve assembly and test issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team-based problem-solving
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or related manufacturing experience
- Material handling experience required
- Ability to read assembly blueprints in English
- Forklift experience preferred (not required)
- Must be available to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable standing and working in a factory environment for extended periods
