Assembler

Location: Dexter, MI 48130
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr, paid weekly
Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM
Training: Training may take place on 1st or 2nd shift, but will most likely be completed on 2nd shift
Duration: 1-Year Contract

Overview

The Assembler will work in the catheter production area performing hands-on assembly of medical device components. This position involves working with both small components and larger production processes, including the use of dip tanks for catheter manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small components and larger catheter-related assemblies according to established procedures and specifications.

• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on mechanical and/or electronic assemblies and subassemblies.

• Work from visual aids, diagrams, process flow sheets, layouts, schematics, and written or verbal instructions.

• Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and other production equipment as required.

• Operate dip tanks and other equipment used in catheter manufacturing processes.

• Perform continuity checks and other in-process or final testing as required.

• Conduct quality inspections to verify products meet established specifications.

• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies or subassemblies when needed.

• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures while maintaining an organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, production, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience preferred.

• Comfortable working with small components and performing detailed assembly work.

• Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, visual aids, and verbal directions.

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
