Job Title: Assembler I Location: Aiken, SC Duration: 3 Months Contract Pay rate: 16.40/hr on W2 Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Description:
Perform general assembly duties which includes the assembly, testing and packaging of valve or switch components, kits, and valve sub-assemblies per assembly procedures and/or operation sheets, drawings, packaging capsule sheets, and bills-of-material
Responsibilities:
Transfer of components from staging area to assembly benches.
Assemble valve or switch components per assembly procedures and/or operation sheets.
Read and interpret gages, flow meters, and power supply read-outs in a manner to make simple judgment calls in quality.
Perform the required testing, i.e., internal, external, mass spec, functionality, of completed valves, switches, and assemblies.
Demonstrate the ability to set up required equipment and identify production problems.
Demonstrate ability to understand quality requirements
Able to use hand tools, torque drivers, and other equipment in a safe and accurate manner.
Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of one year of assembly, test, and pack experience preferred
Blueprint Reading course or equivalent preferred.
While performing duties you may be required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
May be required to work more than 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week based on production needs.
