    Job Description
    Position Profile
    The Assembler I role supports all aspects of the assembly process to ensure the on-time delivery of components that meet quality and performance standards. This includes performing routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations, following well-defined instructions, conducting quality testing, supporting daily performance reviews, problem solving, and participating in workplace organization initiatives.
    Assemblers work under the supervision of the Cell Lead and Department Supervisor, both independently and as part of a team.
    Knowledge & Experience
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
    • Ability to count accurately and perform basic math.
    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
    • Competency in using hand tools.
    • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
    • Basic computer skills preferred (Microsoft Office, email).
    • Previous manufacturing/assembly experience preferred but not required.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Assemble fixtures by following work instructions.
    • Perform electrical tests as required.
    • Follow engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
    • Operate machines (setup, material tending, operation, and waste disposal).
    • Adhere to Standard Work procedures and productivity standards.
    • Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
    • Participate in daily team meetings and problem-solving activities (5-Why).
    • Support 5S initiatives to maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
    • Conduct basic maintenance of tools and equipment.
    • Follow all safety policies and use required PPE.
    • Work independently or in a team as needed.
    • Provide input for continuous improvement.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

    Position Dimensions
    • Single shift (up to 12 hours).
    • Overtime, including weekends, as required.
    • Fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Strong safety culture.
    • Standing for long periods required.
    • Lifting up to 50 lbs required.
    • Use of PPE required.
    • 85–95% of shift spent in direct manufacturing.
