Assembler I (Connectors)

Position Summary

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join a growing manufacturing team as an Electrical Assembler. In this role, you will assemble electrical components and connectors while ensuring products meet quality and customer specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a manufacturing environment, and are eager to develop new technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, work instructions, and assembly documentation to accurately assemble electrical components and connectors.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements.
• Follow established quality procedures, safety guidelines, and manufacturing best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency and workplace organization.
• Collaborate with team members and provide support across production areas as needed.
• Assist with additional manufacturing tasks and projects as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written work instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn and develop new manufacturing skills, including:
  • Soldering
  • Testing and inspection
  • Bending and forming
  • Cleaning and deburring
  • Stamping and gauging
  • Other assembly and production processes
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn production systems and processes.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Education & Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or electronics environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of AS9100 quality standards is a plus.
• Certifications such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 are preferred but not required.
• Candidates with mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
