Job Title: Assembler
Duration: 3 months Contract
Location: Greensboro, NC (100% Onsite)
Shift: 1st Shift (Tuesday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.16 per hour on W2
Responsibilities
- Perform product assembly by following documented assembly work instructions.
- Assemble components, subassemblies, and board-level parts using hand tools, machinery, solder pots, and point-to-point soldering techniques.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions and wiring diagrams.
- Communicate effectively with assembly line stations to ensure productivity and accuracy.
- Report production issues, non-conformances, and recommend solutions to management.
- Follow quality standards, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and ergonomic practices.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S practices.
- Stand and walk continuously throughout the shift while performing assembly tasks.
- Lift up to 26 pounds and handle small components with precision.
Must Have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience as an Assembler.
- Ability to complete basic math functions (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division).
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and understand production shop orders and instructions.
Preferred
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Experience with solder pots or wave solder equipment.
- Intermediate knowledge of Access, Excel, and Word.
