Assembler I (On-site)

HEPCO Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated Assembler for our client to support the production of electronic and mechanical assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a team player who is engaged, dependable, and committed to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

In this position, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of electronic and mechanical components, contributing directly to the development of advanced technologies. Work will include both repetitive production tasks and more complex, non-repetitive assembly using manual and powered tools. A strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork is essential.

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components and assemblies using hand tools and power tools
• Perform assembly, disassembly, modification, testing, repair, and rework of various products
• Follow work instructions and accurately log daily tasks and time in system
• Support production goals by working collaboratively with team members
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
• Adapt to both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Ability to follow work instructions and use a computer for basic task tracking
• Ability to use manual hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good manual dexterity and ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to pass a Visual Acuity Standard Test (VAST) or have correctable vision, including color vision
• Willingness to be trained

Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School education (minimum 2 years required)

• Experience applying conformal coating
• Soldering experience with electrical components
• Knowledge of surface mount technology and assembly processes
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment

Additional Information
Pay rate is $23.83/hr
Weekend shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
This is a set 3-day, 12-hour schedule totaling 36 hours per week with no deviation in shift hours
