Job Title: Skilled Soldering Assembler - Join Our Production Team!
Overview:
Are you a meticulous craftsman with a passion for creating high-quality products? We are on the lookout for a dedicated Soldering Assembler to become a vital part of our production team in Lake Elsinore. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling intricate components per customer specifications and engineering guidelines. Your expertise in fine-point soldering will not only contribute to our production goals but also ensure that we consistently meet and exceed our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute complex production assemblies with precision using travelers and routers.
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and production equipment effectively.
- Accurately read and follow both verbal and written assembly instructions.
- Conduct basic testing of assemblies utilizing multimeters, test boxes, and environmental chambers.
- Engage in company-provided training and certification programs to enhance your skills.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by manufacturing or production leadership as needed.
Required Skills:
- A strong manual and finger dexterity for handling small components.
- Exceptional near vision; annual vision screening is required.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Steady hands and keen attention to detail for precise soldering work.
- A dependable, cooperative attitude committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong integrity and a solid work ethic.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Fine-point soldering experience with small-gauge wires and 10x microscopes is highly preferred.
- Prior solder training and experience with in-process inspections are advantageous.
- Experience with potting compounds is a plus, but not required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in assembly or a related field is essential.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in internal soldering training and certification programs as provided.
