Responsibilities

  • Perform general assembly of products in accordance with product specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Conduct required inspections of products following Quality Procedures.
  • Build hatch cover structures using fiberglass, resins, and hard structural materials, utilizing a variety of hand tools, including pneumatic tools.
  • Interpret work instructions and ensure a safe working environment by wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Collaborate within a team structure and execute additional duties as necessary.
  • Record applicable inspection and test results, interpreting them to meet job function requirements.

Qualifications

  • Ability to use common hand tools.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Skill in interpreting and applying standards.
  • Capability to stand for approximately 8 hours per day and lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
  • Able to work in a closed environment, specifically within a cave system, and on uneven surfaces.
  • Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred but not required.
  • Fiberglass experience is preferred but not required.

Working Hours

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for approximately 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

Working Environment

  • Enclosed cave environment with climate control.
  • Work with fiberglass, resins, and other chemicals.
