Duties and responsibilities
Role Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for manufacturing parts per customer and industry specifications, while maintaining top quality standards.
Essential Responsibility:
- Operate machinery in the production process.
- Set up machinery as required.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines via overhead crane.
- Transport raw materials on the property via overhead crane or forklift.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure production safety, efficiency and on time completion.
- Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented, excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Basic math skills.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Preferred Requirements:- High school diploma/GED.
- Familiar with production equipment and machinery.
- Prior experience in a production setting.

- An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
