Assembler

Summary:
Assembler needed for a manufacturer in Lancaster, Ohio. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who take pride in detail-oriented work and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble custom-sized filters, by measuring and cutting
• Inspect, label, and package finished filters to meet shipment standards
• Occasionally perform cold glue assembly and maintain gluing equipment
• Learn filter types and interpret media charts
• Support training of new team members and cross-train across roles
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Participate in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use and Lockout/Tagout awareness
• Review and apply Best Work Practices (BWPs) relevant to the role

This is a temporary-to-direct, full-time position, hiring immediately. There are first and second shift available. First shift is Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 3 PM, and Friday, 6 AM to 12 PM. Second shift is Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2 AM. Pay is in the range of $18.89 to $20.40 per hour. Skills & Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills (read fractions to 1/16 ", use tape measure)
• Ability to read and write English (for reports and work orders)
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working independently or in a team with minimal supervision
• Physically able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 15 lbs throughout the shift
