Pay Rate: $22.25/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Training: First day starts at 8:00 AM

We are now hiring a Production Assembly Lead for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Reno, NV! This is a great opportunity for experienced assembly professionals looking to step into a leadership role and grow within a team-oriented environment.

Job Summary:

The Production Assembly Lead serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in assigned production areas and is responsible for leading daily operations while performing advanced assembly and quality tasks. This role supports team members, ensures efficiency, and maintains compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support production team members while performing advanced assembly tasks
  • Serve as SME in areas such as cord prep, packing, and quality assurance
  • Assemble, inspect, and test components and finished products for quality standards
  • Identify and troubleshoot product defects and determine disposition of materials
  • Perform quality checks, audits, and maintain department 5S standards
  • Coordinate workflow, manage queue levels, and ensure production goals are met
  • Document findings, maintain records, and communicate discrepancies as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures, ISO standards, and company policies
  • Cross-train and mentor team members to improve overall performance

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required (additional technical education preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years of electro/mechanical assembly experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (mechanical and electrical)
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety rules, and procedures
  • Experience with small component assembly and soldering preferred
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office) preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for the entire shift
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
