Assembler Level 1P

Our client, is a Manufacturing Conglomerate company, is looking for a Assembler Level 1P for their Houston, TX location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Primarily prepares component level and simple assembly items for shipment.
• Also responsible for the following duties.
• Reads work orders, follows production drawings and samples assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Assembles bill-of-material items.
• Counts product to ensure correct quantity.
• Inspects and tests product as required.
• Boxes or bags products as required.
• Affixes labels to product.
• Insures completeness of paperwork.
• Forwards completed orders to shipping department.
• Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly issues
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
• Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
• Works under close supervision.

 
Requirements:

• Typically requires no previous related experience.
• Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
• Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
