Job Summary
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler performs a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies. This role involves wiring, component installation, soldering, and cable harnessing while ensuring adherence to blueprint specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations
- Follow methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, and assembly
- Conduct hand soldering and cable harnessing activities
- Set up and adjust equipment while maintaining blueprint tolerances
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Ensure quality standards are met during assembly and production
- Identify and resolve moderately complex issues during the assembly process
- Collaborate with team members and communicate with customers when required
Work Environment
- Production/assembly environment
- Moderate complexity tasks requiring independent judgment
- Limited daily supervision with general guidance on new assignments
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly
- Strong understanding of assembly processes and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Experience with wiring, soldering, and component assembly
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
