Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on complex assemblies and sub-assemblies. This role requires hands-on experience with wiring, component installation, and precision assembly while working from technical documentation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and able to work independently on moderately complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and finished products
• Follow schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and written/verbal instructions to complete assembly tasks
• Execute wiring, cable harnessing, and component installation with precision
• Perform hand soldering and ensure proper connections and assembly quality
• Set up and adjust equipment, maintaining tolerances to required specifications
• Identify and resolve assembly issues, making recommendations as needed
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding production status

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
• Experience with hand tools, soldering equipment, and assembly techniques
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cable harnessing and precision wiring
• Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments
