Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Assembler for a Contract job with a client in Londonderry, NH. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly operations, manufacturing support, product inspection, and production environments, along with the ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards.

Rate Range: $20/hour to $21/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Assembler Job Responsibilities Include:

• Clean assembly parts following rework activities by utilizing approved tools, chemicals, and processes to prepare components for subsequent manufacturing operations.

• Assemble mechanical, optical, and electrical components and subassemblies in accordance with established work instructions, engineering requirements, and quality standards.

• Perform basic testing activities by loading units, initiating test programs, evaluating pass/fail criteria, and documenting results accurately.

• Conduct visual inspections and functional checks at defined intervals to identify defects, verify product quality, and ensure compliance with operational requirements.

• Work with RTV, epoxy, adhesives, and bonding materials while following manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• A minimum of one to three years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or related operational environments.

• Demonstrated ability to follow written work instructions, operating procedures, safety requirements, and manufacturing documentation accurately.

• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to navigate software applications used for production tracking, testing, and documentation activities.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform inspections, identify defects, and maintain high levels of quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience cleaning, removing, or reworking various bonding compounds, adhesives, RTV materials, and manufacturing-related coatings.

• Familiarity with assembly processes involving mechanical, electrical, optical, or electromechanical components and subassemblies.

• Experience performing visual inspections, functional testing, product verification, and quality control activities within manufacturing operations.

• Demonstrated proficiency performing multiple production operations within a manufacturing cell while maintaining quality and productivity expectations.

• Knowledge of manufacturing safety requirements, production best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
