Position: Assembler I (Optical Assembly)
Location: West Henrietta, NY
Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking dependable Assembler I professionals to join an optical manufacturing team in West Henrietta, NY. This temp-to-hire opportunity is perfect for candidates looking to build a career in precision manufacturing. Associates will assemble optical components, perform quality inspections, and support production in a clean, team-oriented environment while receiving on-the-job training.
Pay Rate:
  • $21.00 - $24.00/Hour + 10% Shift Differential
    • 5% Bonus Eligibility Upon Permanent Hire
Shift(s):
  • Monday - Friday; B Shift, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Job Duties:
  • Assemble optical components according to work instructions
  • Perform basic assembly using hand tools and fixtures
  • Inspect components for quality and proper fit
  • Handle delicate glass and optical components carefully
  • Follow assembly procedures and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate production documentation
  • Notify supervisors of defects or production concerns
  • Maintain clean workstations and organized materials
  • Follow all company safety procedures
  • Support additional production tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Reliable attendance
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Clean manufacturing environment
  • Frequent sitting and repetitive hand movements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent visual inspection work
  • PPE required
