Assembler - Medical Equipment Manufacturing

Warehouse Position

Required Education: None Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Skills and Experience: 0–1 year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training Effective communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate with coworkers and Team Leads/Supervisors Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Ability to work effectively in a metrics-driven environment General computer skills Preferred Experience: Assembly or Kitting experience Responsibilities: Uses a variety of equipment, including inspection and light equipment and handcarts, to move materials, parts, assemblies, and scrap products or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse Sorts and inspects materials Reads rulers and demonstrates good vision Maintains quality records and demonstrates strong writing skills and good documentation practices Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within a specific skill area, process, or method Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines Works under general to limited supervision Physical Demand: Ability to regularly walk, stand, stoop, kneel, lift, crouch, reach, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements Frequent use of hands and fingers for fingering, handling, feeling, picking, and typing Ability to perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers Ability to lift and/or move items weighing over 50 lbs Ability to work in hot conditions during summer months due to lack of air conditioning Ability to work in cold conditions during winter months due to limited heating Ability to work in a moderate to loud noise environment Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions
